Keep Your Subaru Running Well with Regular Maintenance

2021 Subaru Impreza | Beaverton, OR

Keeping up with regular maintenance is the best way to ensure that your Subaru vehicle stays in great shape for as long as possible. Here at CARR Subaru, we provide affordable, high-quality service for your Subaru Crosstrek, Outback, Forester, and more. Here are just some of the routine maintenance tasks we take care of for you.

Oil Changes

Oil changes are the most frequent maintenance task you need for your vehicle. Subaru recommends getting an oil and filter change about every 3,750 miles. At this appointment you should also have your fluids checked and topped off and check your tire pressure.

Minor Service

Every other time you go in for your oil and filter change, you should also be getting some additional maintenance done. At these appointments, you should have your tires rotated and the cabin air filter replaced.

Intermediate Service

At 15,000 miles, 45,000 miles, and 75,000 miles, Subaru recommends the previous services, plus inspections on the brakes, battery, and engine. Your Subaru technician will also do a road test at this stage to check for concerning noises and ride quality.

Major Service

Every 30,000 miles, you’ll need to take your Subaru in for Major Service. Major Service includes maintenance tasks such as a transmission flush and brake flush, braking system replacements, and belt inspections and replacements.
